Incorporating Witchcraft Into Your Everyday Life

For most witches, it can feel daunting and overwhelming to find time to perform rituals or spells in a busy world. In the world of Instagram and TikTok, it can feel like you aren’t doing enough if you don’t spend an hour prepping and performing your ritual. But that’s not true! More and more people are realizing that not everything needs to be elaborate. That’s why Everyday Tarot and Everyday Witchcraft have become so popular! I will share with you 5 ways to perform witchcraft in your everyday life that you are probably already doing.

1. Enchant Your Morning Tea or Coffee

Most of us already start out days with coffee or tea. So just take this time to enchant your drink and set the tone for the day. IF you are preparing for a work day, try stirring your coffee/tea clock-wise to invite prosperity and abundance into your workday. If you are having a rough day, stir some honey into your mid-day tea to help sweeten up the rest of your day. You don’t have to start your day with your enchanted drink. Try drinking a lavender tea while focusing on relaxation and de-stressing.

2. Cleanse Yourself With A Ritual Shower/Bath

We all shower or bathe everyday…..right? Well take that time for some cleansing. If you are more of a morning bather, try adding lemon or orange essential oils to your bath or shower. They both are uplifting and promote happiness. Use the time you spend in the shower to focus on affirmations and visualize all of the negativity washing off of you. If you are more of a nighttime bather (like me), add essential oils that help to relax you and will help you prepare for bed, such as lavender or chamomile. Visualize the stressors of the day rinsing down the drain and think of calming affirmations.

3. Daily Tarot Reading

A daily tarot pull is both a great way to start/finish your day and bond with your tarot deck. A simple 1 – 3 card spread will help you discover the theme for the day and stay focused on it. It can give you something to meditate over as well. On the other hand, doing a reading at night will give you something to reflect on from the day. If you are still learning tarot, this is a great method of getting to know the cards. My Tarot Cheat Sheets are great to keep on hand for your daily readings.

4. Cleaning Is The New Cleansing

There are so many opportunities to use your witchcraft in cleaning. So much so, I made a whole post about how to use witchcraft in your cleaning. So if you want more details on this, head over there! But between moon water, herbs, essential oils, and fresh fruit, the options are limitless.

5. Cook Up Some Magic

Where are my kitchen witches? They know how easy it is to use magic in the kitchen! And what do you think the made with love phrase actually means? When you are cooking, stir in your intentions as you add each ingredient. You can use this time to meditate or even consecrate your food. If you are a meat eater, you can even thank the animal for its sacrifice.

These are my five tips on everyday witchcraft. What are your everyday practices?
